“Being vulnerable as a leader is not a weakness but shows inner strength and authenticity”

“It is ok not being ok because we are only human and have emotions”.

I am Jeannie, I have been blessed with a loving upbringing, a close-knit family that have taught me the invaluable life lessons, helping to shape me into who I am today.  From young I developed a competitive mindset, a strong drive for success and independence whilst striving for excellence, yet always remaining grateful and humble of my accomplishments.

My professional background is in technology transformation and improvement management within a number of multi-national corporations. These managerial roles provided diverse experiences in leadership, collaboration, people development and more.  I have been privileged to work alongside some incredibly talented people from diverse cultures and backgrounds and build great friendships along the way. Whilst maintaining my energy on the corporate ladder matters, my passion is in championing change and growth through diversity and inclusivity in business strategy and leadership.   This led me to fulfil one of my personal ambitions when I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Leadership and Management.

I enjoy my profession because it provides a good balance of technology and people. I gained many valuable learnings that have stayed with me.

The Power of Coaching and Mentoring

I have been fortunate to receive and provide coaching and mentoring to others since the start of my career. A life changing experience for me because it has helped shape my perspective and approach towards many situations.

I still receive coaching and mentoring today because I feel it is invaluable to continue learning no matter where you are in your journey.  This has developed a strong passion within me for coaching and mentoring others.  I regard this as a gift that has transformed me, enriching my values and beliefs for which I am truly grateful.

Over the years there have been a number of occasions when I felt a more personal call towards coaching.  It wasn’t until 2020, during the height of the pandemic, that this feeling gave way to a strong desire to give back and help others.  In other words, “helping others to embrace change with kindness”.  As a change advocate this resonates, recognising there is always something positive that comes with change.
